I think about her all the time....and I miss her every single day.....

I walked in your shadow,
And although the sun found me there,
You sheltered me from every storm.
From the icy breezes of uncertainty,
To the bone chilling cold of fear,
You kept life’s harsh realities at bay.
Eternally watchful, ever protective!
Your love knew no bounds,
And your patience stretched
At times from here to eternity!
You nurtured me until suddenly,
It was time to let me fly on my own.
The wings you gave me were strong, Mom,
And they have carried me forward
Without ever failing me!
In your enduring wisdom
You knew that day would come
When all I would have left
Are the memories of you I cherish!
Once again, you were right, Mom,
For my memories of you are golden!

Such beauty flows from the pen in honor and love for your mother. All children should feel this type of love. May God bless you every day of your life.

And you continue to honor her with your strong wings, it's good she taught you to stay away from the beeswax. Patrick

THE LOVE THAT YOU AND YOUR MOTHER SHARED IS SO EVIDENT BY THE PAIN THAT YOU STILL FEEL. BUT, ONE DAY, YOU WILL SEE HER AGAIN AND IT WILL BE FOREVER. GOD BLESS YOU AND THANKS FOR SHARING THIS WORK THAT IS FILLED WITH SINCERE EMOTIONS AND DEPTH. LOVE,

Hells bells, this is moving, so very bitter/sweet.
So many kids today do not know who or what a real mother is.
You've been blessed for always.

You captured so beautifully what a real and true mother should be to a child, and when they are mothers of this calibre, yes they have done their jobs and deserved there well earned rests.
