Little is known
About who she was,
Just a face,
A body
Haunting the sidewalk,
Forced to sell
The one thing
That was her's
Over and over
Again.
When she had arrived
A few months ago
She had been
Full of dreams
And confidence,
The small town girl
With big town talent,
Certain
The world
Would soon be
Beating on her door;
But she trusted
The wrong man
Who drugged her
And beat her
And sold her
To break her
Fine spirit;
And now
She lies dead
Upon a trash heap,
Another nameless tragedy
That is already
Forgotten..

And there are many Urban Tragedies happening ... man's inhumanities continue. Sad.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
