Sunshine

Once upon a time

Celestial Glory

Better known as Sunshine

Began to burn out.

Color stripped rainbows

Warmth turned to cold.

Sunshine extinguished

Golden light no more.

Shrouded in darkness

Faith became distant.

Love tried to reach out

Hope has been breached.

Once upon a time

A Celestial star.

Now burned out

Sunshine’s gone for all.

I have often wondered what a world without sunshine would be like, the lack of sun even only for two or three continuous days seems to have a mood affect on so many of us...interesting write Deborah

A number of chilling thoughts come to mind, and ideas about life.
Some beautiful stars in my life have gone out in recent years.
Farther back in time I remember stars turned dark from which I had to escape.
But only in the death of stars is there created the elements of life.
Time marches on until we wake up from our dreams.
