This poem I wrote about half a year ago. It is an impression about always being in the present. I think that it is aprospros to release it this day as today is my birthday.

The Now

Shimmering and stimulating
Eye-widening and glimmering
Soul stirring and confirming
Dazzling and far-reaching
Deeply satisfying and affirming
Overwhelming and awe-inspiring
Resonating and invigorating

The now extends into infinity
The now is always with us
It sees back into the past
Those nows that have passed
It harkens to the days ahead
Constantly mapping them
And reshaping their course
Yet it can never know
With certainty how it fared
For there never is any tomorrow
It will forever be only the now

A wonderful moment to be in

This, for me, was very meaningful and thought provoking. If there never is a tomorrow and it's always now, can there still be a yesterday? I wonder... You won’t remember it, but you turned me on to the Den late last year. I’m ever so thankful that you did. Thanks again for all you’ve done. Dick

Happy Birthday wishes! As for the Now...why would we ever want to be anywhere else? Great expression here :)

Happy, Happy Birthday!

I love this poem - it is alive! It reaches out like a divine flame igniting the reader's passion for life, for living - in the moment! Your first and second stanzas are written very differently, yet are perfectly compatible. The first is like a beautiful, sparkling awakening followed by the second, which is penetrating and profound wisdom - with the first stanza, you open the door to the soul and with the second, you walk right in.

This is one of my new favorites. Have an irrepressibly wonderful, fully-infused birthday - now!
