Have you ever stopped to think, of the many things we do,
As we carry on our lives from day to day.
We should be very careful, as we live our hectic lives,
And not forget the little things along the way.
Little things that are important, for someone that you love,
Maybe something that we need to do or say.
It’s the little things that matter, little things can mean a lot,
We should try to see we do them everyday.
Always tell them that you love them, this little thing is key,
Say it several times through out the day.
Don’t think it’s not important, because it truly is,
They will cherish the “I love you” they hear you say.
“I’m sorry” is a hard one, but its one we all should know,
To use when we have hurt the special ones that we love so.
Have you told them that you’re proud of them for something that they did?
If you are, be sure to tell them, don’t ever keep it hid.
Let them know you care, and for them you’re always here,
And that you will stand up for them, and they have no need to fear.
If you do these little things then you should stand up proud and tall,
In fact these little things, are not so little after all.
