The welcome matt is out, and the natives roam about, every now and then you'll hear them scream and shout, some even pout. |

AD is a I don't know
what community
and you better not
expect any immunity
I moved in some years ago
right away I was ready to go
Little did I know
I would last this long
I still don't feel I belong
After all the years I'm
still not sure
of course this is a sickness
that takes a good doctor to cure
I've seen quite a few friends
leave the site
because some here like
to pick a fight
because of what others write
In this mixed up community
of you could fail
there's a few devils as well
At times it gets hot as hell
Just pull up a chair and take a seat
maybe at first you won't feel the heat
However all of a sudden you'll
hit jackpot
the heat will rise to super hot
Besides our little community of
poetic expression
the writing world itself will teach
anyone a good lesson
Dot all your eyes
apple all your pies
cause the red pen flies
and the perfectionist whines and cries
of course it's a good thing
when the door bell ring

| The golden rule: If you don't have something nice to say to another then keep it to yourself!! When someone says something hurtful it makes them feel better. Never understood that! What I do know is that they are not happy with themselves so they feel the need to put other's down. No one is perfect!! We all make mistakes! If they really want to help a personal message should be sent and not posted for everyone to see. What goes around comes around...If someone is mean and hurtful they will get it back. Maybe not today but it will be someday!! Take care, ~Chessly |

Yes, and he who feels the need to find fault usually is one who feels insecure. Water off a ducks back.

I've also seen far too many leave; there are far too many mean spirited people around, these sad days. |

What a lot of crock! LOL, no just kidding, this is brilliant OPG! I have only been a member of AD for a short time and have yet to see anything but uplifting and encouraging posts in all the poetry that I read, including my own. I am sure something controversial gets posted once in a while, but hey, you take the good with the bad.
Waiting for that door bell to ring,
David |
