Ever wonder what will happen after you write your verse when others click in, especially in the den.

Before the click
you were just versing
not really trying to be whatever or slick
After the click
be ready for anything even a trick
Reviews that are incoming
may end up being numbing
or there may not be any coming
Feeling almost like a hobo bombing
you get back to thumbing

More than a few miles from home
your feet are getting mighty tired
but you just can't lose your stride
So you keep on walking
too you your verse keeps on talking
You got many more miles to go now
but you figure you'll make it somehow
Maybe you should drop the plow
and the slow azz cow

And forget about the jackazz
simply hope your horse pass
Ridem wild cowboy almost throwed
sometimes I wonder if you've
matured or growed
One things for sure your butt hasn't slowed
Hey your grass is too high
it should be mowed
can you make it on what you've sewed
knowing many times your behind
has been throwed

So I got carried away
my versing is only word play
What more can a poet say
Maybe something serious
to make readers furious
Now I'm getting curious
Just what is my main objective
maybe I should hire a detective
wait a minute he could be defective
Guess I've got to be more selective
Give me my cheese
or end up on your knees
Hey I'm no mouse
but I live in a house
I'm married to my spouse
This is really getting bad
hope you're not mad
I prefer you happy and not sad
I'm trying to exit from this dive
and this is no jive
but more bullchit contuinues to arrive
anyway I guess I'll survive
Are the bees still in their hives
What about your stinger
hey did you shoot me the finger
Is that a proper way to express anger
Hell yes
I guess
wait a minute did I just confess
what a freaking mess

Once that mind is turned on, it can churn away, can't it? I love your play here, wild or not...keep on letting those words roll, m'dear!

I always appreciate your philosophical outlook, OPG; you incite the reader to think. Love and peace to you,

OMG...I know exactly what you mean, for all your trouble of writing gibberish you will get the same if any review, as if you were Byron, Keats, or Shelley. How many really read and think about what you actually write...Not to get lazy, because this poem made a point. However, I did read it, and I dunno, but I think you are clever than you let on here, hodge podging your way to genius.

Tales of a Clear, Dark Night by Jansen Estrup

The heavens, we are taught, have always inspired awe, tradition, even salvation. Why? What did our ancestors see there?..
