|Yet I fear all of this was pointless
Just filler in the mists of time
Until the day you brought me light
When you said that you’d be mine…
Yes! I can completely relate to how "real" love can put everything into perspective, balance, and alignment. Fortunate are those who find it. Thank you, Fee. Love and peace to you,

|This is a good poem. Thanks for sharing.
I have noticed that the last two 4-line stanzas do not have a break between them. There is also a typo in the first line of your poem.
"I’ve have seen dark, dreary places" - If you say 'I've' you do not need 'have' after.

|I echo dear Christine Tsen completely. Your writing gets stronger and stronger, dear Felix, and the taut muscle bands of your heart pound with each and every poem. Both in vulnerability and strength; in love and despair, your clarity of thought and integrity of feeling rings 100 per cent pure and distilled. The progression of this poem is fabulous: the despair followed by the firey baptism; the saving grace of love that washes away all prior futility and establishes purpose and fulfillment. Exquisite! AND beautiful. You leave us with a sigh - of both relief and blessing. xx|

And the line "just filler in the mists of time" strikes such a chord!
So much of what we do is just that. Your poem is a powerful declaration of your love and also of your humility and wisdom.
