This links you to a Goya's Child (1) staple of the early 90s entitled Get Me a Lawyer' - sometimes called Evil. I was lead singer co-songwriter with Goya's Child from 1991 until late 1993). This version was played on national radio over the JJJ network in 1993 and I'll never forget driving the Calder Highway north of the metropolis of Melbourne - the city's lights spread out before me as the song came on the radio. This was a great song to play live - it usually set everyone dancing - but for me the lyrics, drum-beat and guitar work are what make it special. My input compared to other GC (1) songs was minimal - though I am singing the 'low bits' and I had a bit to do with the overall arrangement.

Go to You-Tube, Goya's Child (1) song:'Get Me a Lawyer (Evil)', copyright 1992 Thorpe, Mannix, O'Neil, YT, Irvine, all rights reserved. This arrangement copyright GC (1) 1993. [This version of the song received radio play on ABC Australia's JJJ in 1993 - a later arrangement by GC (2) featured on the Freedom Deep movie DVD, 1996-2008].NB: this recording from the 'pre-digital age' (1993).

This song (and particularly this version) was one of fifteen or so originals that featured in a typical Goya's Child (1) gig of the early 90s.
