My Present

With every page turned

I can write a new chapter.

Or, I can dwell in the past

Struggling to chase after.

As the pages turned today

I was surrounded by his serenity.

God’s gift to me – my life,

His love for me – an eternity.

Today and tomorrow begins

Standing tall and my head up.

Bright eyed – with laughter,

My present – a new chapter.

I always read your work and am awestruck of the strength it shows. Very nicely done, Deborah.

Very well expressed and such a positive outlook...the tritals and tribulations of life aren't always easy to handle but we must never lose our ability to smile....

Gives one something to think out. Very upbeat, and may we all have pleasant chapters.
