The building was
The House of God,
The almighty Father,
The merciful one,
Lord of hosts,
Lord of lords,
King of kings,
Prince of peace,
The divine healer,
Clearing the temple
Of evil
Forgiver of all mankind.
Will it now become
The home of the evil ones?
The backstabbers,
The unforgiving,
The finger pointers,
The whisperers and the
Gossipers,
The unloving.
The self righteous,
The rich Pharisees,
The intolerant.
Whose house will it become now?
Speak now or forever
Hold your peace.

| It does seem that the temple, that is the physical structure (building), is now ran by those who would be chased away; according to Christian belief, that is. Aside from our religious separatism, we still need to understand one another; we still need to look after one another the best that we can, and not set ourselves up as judges--judges erecting walls to impossible passage. |
