About one out of every ten, even here in the den.

Some people walk around
looking normal
when actually they'er nutty as
a fruit cake
Don't make the mistake
of getting too nice with a nut
you'll wish you had mind your business
and kept your mouth shut
Even in love and romance
you might be taking a chance
Take a good long look
instead of a short glance

Adam and Eve made the mistake
of trusting the devil
nowadays we can't even soap
and water wash off the evil
Some of us even attend church
and pray
the devils even in the church
trying to mess up our day
In some cases getting too close to
the pastor or priest
might make you the victim of an evil feast

What you see is what you get
in a pigs eye of regret
You can't judge a book by
looking at the cover
and it will not take long to discover
Momma said take time to know her
love isn't an overnight thing
but he didn't listen to momma
Now he lies in a coma
The victim of a bashed in head
being spoon fed
He should have listen to
what his momma said
instead of trying to tell her
he wasn't afraid

I just looked once! How the hell did I know? Got all wrapped up into a little man-knot and that was all there was to it. "I died that day!" But resurrection happens!

Stimulating write!

Peace,

I resent that, younh msn. How did you know it was me. LOL

I really did enjoy this one.
God bless,

Your words remind me of the Grateful Dead's song, "Mama Tried," OPG. Thanks for sharing.

"And I turned 21 in prison, doin' life without parole
No one could steer me right, but mama tried, mama tried
Mama tried to raise me better, but her pleadin' I denied
That leaves only me to blame cause mama tried."

Love and peace to you,

Regis

Momma said, momma said! You got that right. Well said. Even on TV when a little kid is talking on a commercial it is really the Corporation in disguise of the child.
