A theme I return to often, it seems to me! :)) xx

You wear mine and I wear yours
our feelings mate-to-mate:
were him-n-him and her-n-her
our genders to translate.

We mix-n-match our many moods
in harmonious androgyny so our
words, thoughts and ponderings
bear transsexual progeny.

Our Jungian alter-egos
we attempt to manifest;
swap notes and jeans and
body art our voices to transvest.

Exchanging fe/male psyches
in understanding, large or trite,
we glimpse the whole and try all shoes
and wear hermaphrodite.

We are, at times, in matters dear,
sister-sister, brother-brothers.
True artists, seeing in the round,
are, from the soul, gay lovers! 

Kate, this is the finest craftsmanship my friend. A view and a perception addressed with just the proper intellectual touch. I am not sure if many others could have pulled this off so delicately. Your writing abilities shine here. You also show some real grit here. Nothing new or unusual about that. I see it in all of your entertaining renderings. May peace joy and love be with you. Profound. Love the interchangeability of it all. So tolerant in understanding when we write we take on many facets of ourselves which do not always know boundaries. Brilliant. Liz

This one tells of how free to experience life, you are, Kate. I like your implementation of some of the most controversial subjects known to man or woman; they open doors to great understanding, and great acceptance of many, many things. Relinquishing prejudice is a power building act, for certain. Great expressions, and well given; thank you.

I was a tomboy too, and it never changes, that wanting to relate on certain levels, from certain layers, all of them wanting to be reached and to touch.

Superb. Not many can put their feet in someone else's shoes. Especially that of the opposite sex. But you're early years of being a tomboy before the frog became a princess, shows what a powerful memory and imagination you have before becoming the perfect Venusian, a mans delight and many a lasses envy! By day or by night, coming from venus you give men a hard look at themselves within the mastery of such exceptional and imaginative poetry.

Extremely clever and intelligent work, seeing the whole picture, Venus or Mars, but forever being the perfect Venus.

So many peeps don't know about tractor tom and all your other great energetic work to help others reap the benefits of the arts, and help change lives, be they young or old.

Well done buddy boo xxx

Through the years, I've seen your hints through these "alternative" themes of yours, Kate...I picked up on it many gay moons ago when cavalier genitalia rode upon phrases of the same psyche tenderly bumping into one of the same in that orgasmic helium-assisted balloon blowing this way and then that as the burner lifted switching direction for the thrill-seeker...passion soaring high above the grape fields when the champagne flight of sexuality popped our corks!...neuter gender denoting no sex, common gender denoting either sex...let's just have Coming Out! Oh Happy Day! It comes from the artistry within, how we create our well, Kate.
