From where I am standing, I can overlook the Valleys of Corner Brook my childhood home. Although I know I will never go back to live I have to admit, it has some of the most beautiful sites in the world to see. I'll continue to visit and always be proud to say, "Yes I am a Newfoundlander.
Down Through the Valley

I look down through the Valley,
From where I call home,
I’ve missed all it’s beauty,
Often feeling alone.
The blue clear waters,
Surrounded by trees,
The beauty, the Valleys,
Such a wonder to see.
We don’t notice it for years,
That we live there each day,
After years we start longing,
Missing it while we are away.
The trees standing tall,
covering the Valleys along the way,
Beautiful God given gifts,
What more can I say.
Look at the clear skies so clear,
You hear it’s whisper from above,
Put together the picture,
Fill your heart with pure love.
I now look down through the Valleys,
To the place I call home,
Missing all of the beauty,
As I once again roam.

|A touch of the Judy Garland's about this, dear Rose - and, judging by the picture, no wonder! East we may wander, west we may roam, but, when it comes down to it, we just all want to click out heels and fly away home! Beautifully stated with awe and gratitude. Your feelings almost speak for themselves. xx|

|Sharing your memories opens up a world that many have yet to experience. Yet through the fondness of your words I can picture the beauty in my mind...
