| The perils of the seaman's lover are fraught with endless waiting and wondering. When the deep calls no sailor returns to the shore and his lover. Your plea, "Return To Me" is a poignant one Belle. And you have captured the emotions expertly. May love peace and joy be with you my friend. Jon Michael |

I will echo what Kate said. This is a sensuous longing for a lost love to return. This poem tears at the heartstrings, and makes the reader weep with the woman by the shore. Thank you for sharing, Belle.
May the Lord Bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and walk by your side. With love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister Barbie. |

| This fills my heart to bursting, Belle. Such elegance and emotional integrity in this most beautiful write that not only lays bear in all ways the heart and soul but classily gives us the whole back-story by the accomplished way you in which you set the current scene and portray the atmosphere. The mood here is enduring: expansive as the empty skies and earth-covering ocean, and is a fabulous picture of the endlessness of such a love and depth of desire to experience its recovery - though, as the tenor of the whole write suggests, it remains immortal, unable to be truly lost. The nakedness imagery is so right here: longing for the touch of love both outside and in, and in all ways emotional, sensual and intellectual. This is deeply felt and conveys such experience to the reader, too. As always, in awe of The Poetess Of The Heart for such is what you truly are. xx |
