An illusion that surrenders my very soul so dark and deep
These loosing thoughts are battles from a dreaming sleep
On my tearful face there's a voice within is it from the past
To be awaken it was a total alone of lonely shadows cast

Where the weak is forbidden in their despair never to share
There is the in between of the night light give time to stare
A sound of the cold wind of the weather a misty rain so cold
This lonesome night beckon through my heart to live so bold

To realize it was the facts that interlace in my very own mind
A rain dropping on the cold night mix within thoughts of mine
Where is my comfort zone of messier that left me in this shape
In a frightening sigh my gaurdian angel ends my only escape

Some souls are innocent thur the night to be carried away
They leave me with these memories lingering around to stay
Serenity in life there's hope of tomorrow that brings me faith
On this island it takes me closer to my dear Lord in His grace
