Meeting, Loving, Meeting

You watched me
From across the room
With gestures
From your hands

I walked over
Carrying a flute
Filled with champagne
Handing it to you

We toasted that night
To all kinds of things
To your intelligence
For picking me out

We left together
Our hands entwined
I got in my car
Followed you home

As you opened the door
I couldn't resist
I ran inside
To give you the sweetest kiss

I spent the night
No sleep at all
Come early morn
We held our bodies tight

I showered
Kissed you. ..
See you, half past six. .. ...
