Great depth to this Senryu chain, Richard. The last verse had me wondering the most. Nicely composed. Love and Hugs,

| My friend John just received a "Dear John" letter via voice mail (puke) last night on his phone. He played it for me. Woman said she just wanted someone to listen to her never-ending, evil clown circus rat's tail of complaints about her ex-husband of 16 years, etc. etc. John was quite bemused. I mean, voice mail for heaven's sake? Dear oh dear. Seems to be going around. |

...ah that world of parting but not quite parting, of hoping or even thinking it's still all right and then...the papers...love, "My wisdom left me"...that I can identify with big time, Richard.

Oh yes, I can just see the smoke rising from your chimney ~
Drifting right out of your poem into my face as I read this most clever and enjoyable writing.
