There are times when I question what I'm doing with my life....it's at those times that I write down what I see in me, and it all makes sense again! Anyone else feel this way? To all of my den friends I wish you rainbows and stars!

I will grasp at rainbows,
Clutch at stars,
Reach so high
My fingertips touch forever!
I will never give up,
My pace will be steady,
No matter the obstacles
That clutter my path!
When my burdens
Weigh me down,
I will rearrange them
In order of importance!
I will gather friends,
Like beautiful wildflowers
And nurture them along the way,
So they never wither and die!
I will be compassionate,
And keep in mind
I am just another grain of sand,
No more, and no less
Than any other!
I will protect my heart,
Shielding it
From hatred and bias!
My open mind
Will be a safe haven
For lost souls!
I am living my destiny!
My dreams are my realities!
I have confidence
In me,
In all that I am,
I am passionate,
And I will
Make the best
Of every moment,
Until my soul is at peace
Among the stars
As I soar into eternity!

Love your credo. You're not quite ready for eternity, but you forgot to mention time out for beer. Just a public service reminder. Patrick

Annabel, this is so uplifting and soothing to read. It is a wonderful credo for anyone and everyone to live by. The stand out line for me, "I will gather friends, Like beautiful wildflowers"

Words to live by, Annabel. If but fifty percent of your words were held dear by fifty percent of those we know, our friendships, lives and the quality of our lives and the lives of those we know would be forever improved.
Your friend, Mark
