What if you could understand a person by just looking at them? What if you knew what to expect from them in terms of performance, never to experience disappointment again..

Oh Mercury, Mercury

OH MERCURY...MERCURY

I saw the highlights of your fiery red hair,
Oh Mercury, Mercury, you ain't playing fair.
My temperature's rising, I'm gasping for air,
I'm tempted, so tempted by your devilish stare.

Ruby lips tantalizing, I'm succumbing in shame,
Oh Mercury, Mercury, so skilled at your game.
You move like a serpent in search of its prey,
My soul wanting to leave, body begging to stay.

You're offering yourself like a prize I must claim,
Oh Mercury, Mercury, never asking my name.
Now I hear the hunger roar deep in my heart,
My vows to be faithful, you're tearing apart.

Why have the heavens put you there in my path?
Mercury's naked beauty alluring, a welcome mat.
My mind asking my body, is this all a dream?
Clinging onto the cliff, like a thread to a seam.
