Health should be our number one priority!!!!

Healthy Heart

by Amber "V" Moonstone

9/5/10

Filtering emotions
received from others
generating compasssion
through a healthy heart.

Sometimes energy felt
can trickle into our own being,
but having compassion and the ability
to filter this energy keeps your heart strong.

Open heart, open mind,
transfers and recycles positive
healing energy toward your thoughts
which in turn heals your body.

Blessings abundant,
open mind allows for
an open healthy heart,
that thrives on love
of oneself and others.

Receiving this type of love,
can be the key to unlocking
your own unconditional love
toward others.

Always feel with your heart,
see with your soul,

and reap the benefits of
mind, body and optimum health!

Healthy Heart (c) Amber "V" Moonstone

author's notes: this poem came to me this morning, after emailing a friend about feeling the mortality of my upcoming 57th birthday on Sept. 7.  I know that I have many more years ahead, but also know that I take on a lot of people's energy with my energy work, so I have to remember to always protect my heart...Namaste!

So few truly understand the power of energy or know even of its existence...this is the way of the world, fast and inconsiderate to the availability to grasp, feel and utilize the energy of the Universe...

nice work Amber...

Yes, very good point there at the end. Sometimes, we even have to distance ourselves from those who steal our energy for awhile, or forever, depending. I am a firm believer in the mind-body connection, and am a testament to what stress can do to a body. Excellent poem, and keep promoting a healthy heart-I wish my brother had realized the importance of it. xxx Michelle

Beautiful, dear Amber, AND A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! May this year be your best yet and I pray you find your energies redoubled and youth rekindled as the universe is minded to bless you with the association and company of the The One who complements your soul and character in every way, fulfilling your passions and channelling your desires towards a harmonious and productive future. Like you, I need to guard my heart against depletion as I minister into the spiritual needs and energies of others - but you have nailed it here: like breathing, the give and take has to be consistent and tidal to keep an even flow. But always, the giver is continually blessed with more, the more he/she gives away. Energies may run low at times, but blessings always accrue. Your garden of giving is always in full-summer bloom, Amber. And may you always also taste of the autumn fruit of it. Have an absolutely fabulous day. And a tremendously onwards and upwards year ahead. Love always, Kate xx

A very "positive" write. It made me think of the first line of Rudyard Kipling's poem: "If you can keep your head when all about you are losing thers and blaming it on you;... ...Your's is the earth and everything that's in it,.." Your poem offers some terrific advice.

Amber, you're still a child at 57. Just wait until you get my age!! I hope that, like me, you will still feel 57. I love my age and life. It's never been better.
