Seasonal impressions.

Spring - soft wind soughing gently over green buds on tensile branches.  Rain falling softly on beckoning crocuses.  Robins trilling joyfully in the sunshine.  Morning dew glistening on blades of fresh grass.  Fish leaping gracefully above the water's surface, sun glistening on their scaly skin.

Summer - lovers whispering their feelings softly in the shade.  Bees humming as they hover over flowers.  Throngs of cicadas clicking loudly in the heat.  Sunflowers turning their broad faces toward warming rays.  Cool water rushing over smooth stones.  Hummingbirds flitting from flower to flower.

Autumn - cool, dry breezes rustling brown leaves on brittle branches.  Falling, they flutter and dance crisply across the cool earth.  Squirrels digging feverishly in the soft soil.  Children giggling gently while at play.  Wolves baying under a full moon.  Wisps of clouds like spun cotton dotting the sky.

Winter - bare branches encased in ice.  Hillocks blanketed with pristine snow.  Icy blasts of wind swirling past skaters gliding over a frozen pond.  Snow falling softly though the still air; white spots in the winter sky.  Night air, still and crisp, carrying even slight sounds great distances.  Owls peering sharply through the darkness in search of prey.
