Ah! My favourite season is upon us! Can't wait for nature to paint the hills in autumn's breathtaking colours!

Splashes of crimson and yellow gold
Scattered on sun-dappled green!
Intensely fragrant harvest hews
Autumn makes the scene.
Faded petals from nature’s bouquet,
Dance with falling leaves.
Invigorating scents carried along
On autumns gentle breeze!
Naked trees will soon arrange
Their patchwork quilts on the ground,
Then as they sway in the rising wind,
There won’t be a single sound!
Shadows of autumn evenings,
Have shortened up the days,
And soon the delightful autumn air,
To winter’s chill will give way!

Beautiful words and beautiful images that have me walking among the fallen and falling golden/red leaves. Words that bring me into your dream of Autumn.

You have such a lovely feeling for nature. As a city dweller this brings some of it to me.
