HARVEST CAN BE A WONDERFUL TIME OF YEAR...WHEN ONE REAPS THE BEAUTY OF THEIR LIFE AND LOVE. WELL DONE...A CONVEYER OF PEACEFUL THOUGHTS. THANKS FOR SHARING, LOVE AND BLESSINGS,

Harvesting is surely the operative word in your poem Christine. And lost merely innuendo obscuring the reaping of plant, love and poetry. I can relate easily to such experiences of the heart and soul. A covert commune with self, nature and lover. May love and peace be with you my dear friend. Jon Michael

I see 'lost' here as an experience of wilderness, being lost in its beauty, but I see, too, the other loss and the redemption of creativity.
Pithy, poignant and very worthwhile, Christine.

What strikes me about this is the insinuation of being "lost." And this then ties in with this sort of wandering soul, connoisseur/ lover of poetry type. And I think maybe we're all a little lost (speaking of myself mainly); but perhaps the poet or reader of poetry is just a little bit more aware of this sense of forlorn longing than others. Good poem. All the best.

The theme of poems that are planted and grow, ready to become emotional nourishment, resonates within me. Nice.
