Feels So Good
By La Belle Rouge

I donít know why life is what it is
but I know I need to be with you
it doesnít matter if it takes a lifetime
as long as what you find is true
and it feels so right, here in your arms
with the world locked outside our door
it feels so good every kiss we share
canít be without your love anymore

don't know the reasons for empty feelings
why they come and why they go
I just know our hearts lie down together
and thatís all I really need to know

It feels so good to feel your fire burn
the way you make my flames blaze
and it feels so right to say I want you
and Iíll love you now and all my days
I donít know why life is what it is
and I may never know the reasons
but the love I feel for you is real
soul to soul for all our seasons

Maybe in a perfect world our hearts could lie down together. Well said.

"...our hearts lie down together" - that's the key, Belle. Lock the ugly world out and find love within... "soul to soul for all our seasons"'s a fine lesson to be learned.

These are lovely, romantic verses, Belle. They could also be lyrics for a song it seems to me. Love and best wishes,

The purest pen is always the most profoundly resonant, rich and far-reaching, Belle. And there is nothing more beautiful than an open, offered heart. This not only touches souls tip-to-fingertip but plumbs soul deep. The voice of love's many waters speaks here and can never be dammed or quenched. None of us may ever know "why life is what it is" but we most certainly know when we have found it. This is an echo that will find its call answered because it already feels itself to be lovingly confined and warmly embraced. Totally gorgeous stuff as is all your romance. xx
