Don't Let Anyone Treat You That Way

Sweetie don't let anyone

Treat you wrong

Or hurt you the way they do

Name calling

And cutting you down

Is not cool.

I know the old saying

Sticks and stones

May break my bones

But words never hurt

But words have the power to

Break your heart

And scar you deeply.

You are my friend girl

And I say this because

I care,

Sticks and stones

Can break your bones

But words can break your heart

And have the power to break

You down.

But girl when

I say your my friend

I say it not in judgement

And not to preach at you

But it hurts me when

I see you being hurt.

Your strong I know

But we all have our breaking points.

You know what though girl

I am here for you.
