This is a wonderful description of the 'season of mists and mellow fruitfulness'...Autumn is a miracle of a season...and I'm still trying to get my hair the colour of a beautiful fresh conker!

Autumn... Autumn is the only thing I miss about living in the mid-west. Though we have Autumn in Southern California, nowhere is there the vibrant colors nor the crisp air as found to the north and east.

| We don't get the artful display of colors down here, just a sprinkling here and there, but, and however, and heck, just the fact that cooler temperatures are here make up happy. Excellent and very creative poem, Anna. |
