Poet, i am
undone by the feel
of your pen on
my skin ----
meant for me
alone. i read
tuck them into
the chambers of
my heart. fold
them into the
my brain ----
they're safe, there.
in the loneliness
of the night,
when you're not
here, i'll pull them
out and feel like
beside me ----
