A man who would truly improve the world in which he exists
Is one who takes a positive attitude and his kind words persists
This is a man who thereby becomes a creative force for others
He has a gentle and caring attitude toward sisters and brothers
Compassion is a driving force, a creed that he lives by
He weighs his words thoughtfully which become conversations to live by
He overcomes animosities with constructive ideas and positive thoughts
When faced with problems he looks for solutions but is slow to find fault
Here is a man who creates positive things where they may not otherwise exist
For he knows that without a positive attitude these blessings cannot persist
Keep in mind, my friend that an optimistic outlook has a creative effect
But pessimism breeds upon itself a force you must not select
