Looking into
the distance
suddenly a
star
appeared.
Revealing a
face,
so familiar.
a face of
yester-year.
It burst into
a million
pieces,
scattering
shards
throughout
the universe.
Impossible
to retrieve
until this
day
one small
piece
remains
missing.
