Frozen In Place
Stiff - immobile - frozen in place
Brutal winter of sub zero frost bite,
Where tongues stick to freezing metal
In still life being layered in ice-cold coatings.
Whirling wind whistles cold, cold chill bite,
Howls stiff icy sounds that snap in inert brittleness.
Moaning limbs crack crash in cold, cold amputation,
Hibernating cryonics of seasons evolving ice layered aging.
The sun overriding winter in spring thawing
To form icicles dripping into cascading rush of water.
Sap starts to bark it way up onto awaiting limbs
That bud alive in the dance of warm, warm breezes.
Swaying trees harmonize movements to blend with songbirds
Upon sunrise to sunset serenades of moving nature songs,
Where everything germinates to seed with another generation
Sprouting to gain a foothold survival before its dormancy
Of being Frozen in Place.
