I would have stood by you; loved you and only you, all my life. I would have walked with you; hand in hand side by side, until we reached the end of our days. I would have journeyed with you; beyond. I would have lived for you; devoted my existence to your happiness, and never wanted for more. I would have supported you; carried the weight of your hopes and your dreams on my back, gladly. I would have; if only you had let me.
