Why do you stand so close....?

The earth crumbles around us yet you are so calm?;

She reaches out her hand as if to ofter me the world;

How remarkable is it to mock suffering?....

Who is this girl?

Don't you sense the panic chocking on the ironic delight of our mistakes?;

Or do you happen just to become numb under such pressure?;

And as if she were mental she stood there with a smile walking blindly through the darkness as if she herself would never fade.

Remarkable strength...remarkable beauty..

"I'm nothing you can't handle and all between what you think you can", she said as she finally let go;

"All you got to do is wake up", she said in a blur as light flew through my windows....

...And Reality was no more..

~Robert Burton
