guide team spirit

community mercantile
stacked buckboard nobody's god

religion's fur-bearing trap
scripture's archaic jaws ensnare
their own caught in ligature strap

whiskey kegs tapped
stove stoked seasoned oak
marijuana high-peaked Pisgah snow capped

winter trade
stocked shelves bulge
scrimshaw straight razor blade

shaves ice flurry
cinnamon--apple fragrance
diffuses from crock

feather quill
dips in ink well
parchment restock order to fill

timed migrating bird's wing
stonewash blue stocked
wagon trade trip next spring

hooves pound scripture

Sage, your descriptors are the envy of me. "cinnamon--apple fragrance diffuses from cock", I can smell that! Your western genre is rawhide tough and Jack Daniels smooth. The wacky weed highs, you can have mine. Never had the desire to try it. I can get higher than the mountains without any artificial stimulation. Love your work.
