STARTLED IN MY SLEEP

BY A HOWLING SCREECH

I OPEN ONE EYE

AND SEE SOMETIMG

POINTED COMING

RIGHT AT ME

IT IS POINTED

AND BLACK

AND WHACKS MY CHIN

THE TIP OF AN

EAR

AND A BLACK CAT

HITTING MY CHIN.

Black cats are supposed to be lucky...and they are... but being woken by one, Susan, in this fashion could well make you think otherwise.
Love the moment captured.

Susan, In a couple more weeks this would be really scary. For now though, it's just a loving household pet telling you it's time to get up..... Lucky you. Dick
