A poor mans luck, might not even be worth a buck, some can't even afford a chicken to pluck.

Very few have extra money to buy
however the rich will always
make it by
A poor man can't hardly afford to fly
Some can hardly afford to get
buried when they die
Getting cremated might have to apply
Many children sit hungry and cry
Some don't even have a home to lay
cause their parents make no pay

Living in America the land of opportunity
suppose to be one of the best in this
world community
however the poor has no immunity
Unless he can get the politicians to
do their job
to make it more difficult for the greedy
to rip off and rob
Poor little hungry children
please don't sob

Maybe some day
there will be no tooth decay
Of course teeth will always rot
even in the greedy evil ones that plot
Use no pain killer in the rotten ones
they got

Maybe some day
the poor man might earn more pay
However he'll never be able to afford
the way the rich man play
A poor man might even have to
suffer with his tooth decay
