Out Of The Mine
Miraculous feat
all out of the ground,
miraculous feat,
now safe and sound.
However…
Uh-oh,
Who’ll it be,
who’ll be top-side
when out’a the slag?
Johnny, Johnny,
cat’s out’a the bag.
Not a smart request
for the world to see,
wife or mistress
who’ll it be?
Day sixty-nine
beneath the ground
buried sixty-nine days
in the San Jose Mine.
Johnny, Johnny,
were you in mental distress,
requesting a greeting
from both wife and mistress.
However…
“I’ll not be there!”
Johnnies misses said.
“If she’s there
It’ll not be me!
I won’t be there
for the world to see!”
Out of the mine now,
Who’ll it be?
Opps!
Kissing the mistress
for the world to see.
Johnny, Johnny
in so much trouble
you’ll be!

Giggle....too funny Mark! Who will it be indeed? The mistress waiting with open arms, the wife waiting with a shovel!
Your friend,

Glad they are safe and sound ... but agree, some things should be left in private. Well done.

I am so glad they all are safe and that is the important thing, BUT, I feel that that man should not have done what he did so all the world could see. Somethings should be private I feel.Really liked your work here Markie
