GOOD TO SEE YOU song lyrics by Joel Sattler

Back when our love was special

Something beyond gladness

Something more than madness

We were more than friends

But that was ancient history

When love was a mystery

Do you really miss me?

Did it have to end?

You and I were something

Something to remember

When May loved December

I remember when

But still it’s good to see you

Good to see you

Good to see you

Good to see you once again

When it’s over then it’s over

But I’m proud I was your lover

Proud I was your lover

It was more than ten

But still it’s good to see you

Good to see you

Good to see you

Good to see you once again

One day found I was talking

to myself and walking

walking down the sidewalk

we often walked back then

and I found that I was saying

I wished that you were staying

my mental banjo playing

with the Foggy Mountain men

So tomorrow you'll be going

back on the river flowing

and I'll still be here knowing

I'm on my own again

Still it's no use in me moping

although I'm left with no thing

can you blame me for hoping

you'll come back home again?

But still it’s good to see you

Good to see you

Good to see you

Good to see you once again
