"Have You Ever" ??

A Puzzling Moment

Within a walk in closet
Found myself in the center
Puzzled, scratching my head
Wondering
Why I entered where I stood?
Nothing fell into place
Like a computer
Fragmentizing its files
I exit momentarily
Regrouping my thoughts
Looked back towards the bedroom
I originated my journey from
Scanning the area of my past
for an answer
seeing an object of attraction
I recalled my purpose
Than continued my life.

I LOVED THIS ONE AND IT CAN HAVE MEANING ANY WAY YOU LOOK AT IT; COULD BE A 'SENIOR MOMENT' IN DAILY LIFE WHEN YOU FORGET WHAT YOU WENT TO THE CLOSET FOR, OR....COULD BE ONE FINDING THEMSELVES IN THE MIDST OF A SITUATION IN LIFE AND ONE WONDERS, 'HOW IN THE HECK DID I GET HERE'??!! BUT IN BOTH INSTANCES WE 'REGROUP', CALL ON JESUS AND CONTINUE ON WITH OUR PURPOSE...KNOWING 'HE' IS COMPLETELY IN CHARGE. GREAT WORK...DONE WELL AND ENJOYED. I THINK I'LL SAVE THIS ONE. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS & FAITH...JOYCE*HIS INSPIRATIONS

It's almost like a moment in 'The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe' that place, William, of altered reality, temporary confusion and then the dawning of new dimension and experience. You take a simple act and give it new meaning.
Yes!

A tender poem ~
These moments of unexpectedly feeling lost and overwhelmed come to all, and this is such a profound poem because of the way you write of it.
Best Wishes,

Ha ha you got me with this gem. Losing momentarily what you are looking for sometimes can be from a preoccupied mind or lack of concentration or just plain old age catching up with you. Great write, enjoyed.
