It truly was a spiritual experience gazing upon the mountains and mighty Humber River Valley in Newfoundland this past weekend! My father was as one with nature as it is possible to be!!! And I am a chip off the old block!

Unspoiled by the touch of a human hand,
Magnificence beyond any measure,
Graciously gifted to humankind,
Nature’s bountiful treasures!
Towering peaks in hues of gold,
Surrounding a pristine loch,
Enduring presence upon the earth,
Where spirits of the ages still walk.
I have searched my soul in this sacred place,
Reflected upon who I’ve become.
And more than ever I realize,
With Mother Nature I am one!
