A Mother's Nightmare

family arguments can be deadly

He's roaming the streets, where I do not know
an argument with his step-dad, he knew he had to go.
But the illness in his body is a dangerous thing.
Don't be so stubborn, please come back to me!

We can work this out, families always can.
Come back to us son, and act like a man
For the disease in your body won't take life
on the streets.  One more thing, where will you
find anything to eat?

Your doctor told you, even one little cold, and
you could be dead.  You were in the hospital for
five days, five days of dread.

For diabetes is a nasty disease but what you
had was more.  A complication almost killed
you, and now the rain begins to pour.

Come home!

OH MY! I feel this in the depths of my - a sad, young heart fleeing and a mother's plea. . . I hope he came home to be wrapped into the folds of Love.

Mary, if this is purely muse it is dramatic. If it is reality, compelling. "Nightmare" does not begin to express the grief and uncertainty of this work Mary. I bid you love and peace my dear friend. Jon Michael

Mary, I am hoping your son has returned by now and everything is ok in your household... I'm praying the issue has been resolved with his step- dad and he is safe at home. My father just died from complications of Diabetes. It can be deadly if not monitored. Take care, and God bless you always! Chessly
