Chasing dreams that lingers opens a love I knew
Holding you tight in the middle of midnight blue
You are vivid in my lonely thoughts so silent tonight
The wind at the window seems dim in the light

A voice speaks that calls to me as I wait to sleep
When the nights are long your love is so near
I love you my darlin' thru the tears that I weep
In dignity I wished for you here at my side to hold me

In moments of time so long ago once there was our love
When you said a wife and lover that I need for you to be
Life's pathway has been seeded to shine from up above
In my heart you left me now pushing memories from me

Chasing dreams in the night is my company is what I live
What would I do if they fade inside my heart that I give
Upon this Earth a match that was made to be Heaven sent
Mysterious words will never leave is there time to forgive
