Haunted Hotel

are you dying to

get away from it all

looking for a quiet place

to rest your bones

be very careful

 where you book a room

sometimes there are ghoulish reason

for the vacancy

as the unseen occupants

await more unsuspecting guests

so answer this question

as the ghostly shadows close in

what do you fear most

what is it that quickens the heart

causing knees to tremble

and sweat to pour

come and join me

if you dare

check into the 13th floor

and find out

reservations are necessary

terror is complimentary

Likewise, I enjoyed "Haunted Hotel."

For whatever reason, I'll make sure NOT to check in on the 13th floor.

Don't plan on traveling near that hotel. Right poem for the season but for ghosts it's any season to spoke you.

Perfect for the season, Carole...tongue-in-cheek take and with that hint at truth that rattles us just a little bit more than we like...or can take.

'Bout time you came out of hiding, Carole. Love this one. Just the right amount of spookiness for the dawning of All Hallows Eve . . .

Halloween! Some of those apparitions are friendly and harmless. Others want to frighten and are pushy and belligerent. The 13th floor must be the ideal place to begin a ghostly stay. Haunted buildings are neat and offer diversity not found at just any old place. As long as it is not the "Bates" motel I am fine. I am game either way. Thanks for the Halloween booster shot Carole. Love and peace to you my very dear friend. Jon Michael
