FLAPPER FLOOZIE
© - Tom Hyland - 11/01/10
Instead of “Pick me up at Eight”
It was only “Seven-Thirty”
Now - Don’t you be Late -
Or I’ll get “Down n’ Dirty!”
Me - as Sparta-Wuss -
Half-Naked n’ an Ugly Puss -
“Eat your Heart out - Spartacus!”
My Belly - Big as a Bus!
Lil Patsy - Dressed in Red -
A Cute Lil ‘Flapper Lass’ -
Feather in her Hair Said:
“Watch me Shake my Ass!”
So - Off we went to Maynard’s -
Over next to Brooklyn Park -
For a Halloween Party -
Dinner - Drinkin’ n’ Dancin’ Up a Lark!
The ‘Crab Balls’ were so Good -
They didn’t have a Chance -
N’ ‘French Fries’ n’ Gravy -
Our Bellies did Enhance!
‘Seven n’ Seven’ for Her -
‘Bloody Mary’ for Me -
Band’s name was ‘The Pigz’ -
They were Good as Good Could Be!
Galz n’ Guyz - Paradin’ Around -
Witchez - Warlockz -Goblinz n’ Ghoulz -
All Dressed Up N’ -
Dancin’ Away like Foolz!
John wuz a Pirate -
With a Mean n’ Ugly Face -
Pam - his Lovin’ Spouse -
A Princess of Egyptian Race!
Barb was an ‘Angel’ -
Alan - ‘The King’ Elvis P. -
We All had Fun Dancin’ -
Each Shakin’ His/Her Hi-Ney!
The ‘Flapper Floozie’ -
Was a Really Good Lil Girl -
N’ we Danced the Nite Away -
Gave Her many a ‘Merry Swirl!’
“Happy Halloween!”
“Trick or Treat!”
When Two O’Clock Came -
We were Really Beat!
