Out of Mind

His heart draped over her shoulders,
pulsating beat against naked skin,
her mind wandered to a distant shore,
intense was her body, fully aware,
pushing against the pull of the moon,
hips banging a drum of steel,
tummy tucked, along for the ride,
her head compassed to the east,
long black ringlets tied in a knot,

embraced by darkness, they swayed,

till, her mind returned from shore,
reuniting  with her body and soul,

ah, it is chilly, where is that shawl?

Why did she have to travel so far to feed her mind and senses? I was left with this question... My imagination is at work!

An exceptional moment of otherness, Christine, and sometimes we don't know where we go but does it really matter? I think not; it's the going that's everything.
The heart as shawl is truly beautiful.

Dear Christine, I am happy that in the conclusion you wrote: "her mind returned from shore, reuniting with her body and soul". The mind is our stongest ennemy we should always control our mind. Love Emile
