WRITTEN 18th FEBRUARY 2001.
PHOTOGRAPH TAKEN BY THERESA JODRAY.

Come into my forest world
See what I can see
Welcome to the woodlands
Let your soul fly free

Touch upon this moment
A sacred day in time
Slide into this forest
Leave your world behind

Smell surrounding pleasures
Ancient woods do talk
Listen to their whispers
Can you hear them talk

Wisdom of the ages
Seconds in the all
Much evolving happened
Many woods are gone

Eyes do fill with grandeur
Others never see
Woodland creatures playground
Happy here you’d be

Welcome to my world
Stay here for a while
Leave all stress behind you
For a distant time

See the awesome woods
Lay upon the moss
Look up to the heavens
Worries then are lost

Enter here why don’t you
Spend the day within
Forest world around you
Day dreaming begins

So come into my forest world
See what I can see
Welcome to the woodlands
Let your soul fly free

Touch upon this moment
A sacred day in time
Slide into this forest
Leave your world behind

I sang this as I read. It'd be a terrific song. :) I am so sad when our forests are demolished to bring in more concrete and a b/s world. So many cures, not to mention the creatures who live there, lost. I love you lots. You're a great friend.

Love, Janet xoxoxo PS. The photo is smashing and right in the brighest light to the right, I see 3 people. I know there are many others. :)
