I think this is mostly a woman thing. Sometimes you just have to cry.

There is a heavy cloud hanging over my head
and from time to time it rains
wind and rain pore over my face
my lips,
my fingertips
and fall from tender lace.
I raise my head up to the sky
smile real big and strong
hold my arms open big and wide
to receive all day long.
The storm brewing inside my head
from visions of light
to my tear stained bed
is crushing my heart
and clouding up the sky,
I guess that why
I guess thats really why,
I love the rain
it suits me well
I love the rain
washng my tainted cell.

Grey clouds are a welcome sight
they are my strength through the night
pouring and dripping
to the rythm in my head
making perfect since
of things never said.
They make music of broken hearts
happiness where sadness starts
it all makes perfect since
when I listen to the rain.
I know I can live one more day
as long as I listen
to what the rain has to say
I guess thats why
I guess thats really why,
I love the rain
it suits me well
I love the rain
washing my tainted cell.

I like this a lot. It sounds like a song to me. Song or poem, it is very appealing and I can just feel that crying jag.
I think women are more apt to be the ones giving in to tears, but there are men who cry easily. Tender hearts? Yes, I think so. I appreciate them.
With Jesus-love,
Connie

Ah but there, you are so wrong, Karen; it's not mostly a "woman thing." I weep on a regular basis and I find the rain often "in sync" with my thoughts and feelings. Tears are often therapeutic. Thank you for sharing these meaningful sentiments. Love and best wishes,

Regis
