This came to me during the night after spending all day yesterday at the hospital and confirming with my surgeon that my hip replacement of two years ago has definitely got to be replaced. The image is of my 11 year old adopted son Jon in our simple inflatable boat. Taken this past summer on the lake we have been blessed to live on. |

It's the simple things I forget,
The little things God gives to me;
Like this small island on the lake,
Waves gently lapping at the beach.
The sweet sound of birds in the air,
Seem to be singing harmony;
Leaves on the trees slowly dancing,
To the tune of the mountain breeze.
The loons on the lake sounding out,
Create a tune that is unique;
Family and friends that just stop by,
Simply to sit and talk with me.
Knowing that my children are safe,
God sets aside need to worry;
Healed, delivered and simply blessed,
On this trail that leads to Glory.
Knowing all prayers will be answered,
Simply in His own way and time;
He never holds anything back,
God forgives my every crime.
Simple words of encouragement,
The promise of God Almighty;
Angels to help family afar,
All of the love that surrounds me.
Simple things we should not forget,
Simple things we don't really need;
Yet I love all these simple things,
Things not dealing with glut or greed.

| As the old saying goes if you've got your health you've got just about everything. Simple is truly better. God speed on your next heath adventure. Patrick |

Very good and I would check on the maker of that defective hip as three companies are being sued for bad hip parts. Mine has been in for 8 years and thank God no problems.
