Hope God & His son have a sense of humor or I will be spending eternity in a non-air-conditioned place for sure...

Here ya go Pops,

Take this joint,

Don’t show the angel cops,

Or they will confiscate it,

I know you get my point…

Getting high with the old man,

Yes God I am speakin’ of,

Is a trip, you’d be surprised,

What kind of things he comes up with,

We do it together because we can…

How dare you call me “pops”,

The next time you arise, I’m pulling out the stops,

The stone that covers your tomb,

Will NOT roll away, so entombed you’ll be,

That for calling me pops, will be your permanent room…

Wicked sense of humor. Just the way I like it, then again, you're the one on the hot seat now. I can see the devil a-smilin' cause the Jersey devil is no match for the real one. FYI, my dad and I shared a hash pipe a couple of times, but I knew better than to call him pops. Patrick

Don't forget, you can not heal yourself. 'Please,' I want to read the beauty of your poetic humor. God should not be mocked.

Ho, Ho, Ho! I see you've got most people silent on this one, except for dear old Ma, of course. She says, "Shame on You, You Old Jersey Devil You!" Ho, Ho, Ho!

Ed you're a riot rolling and this is way out and rolling humor, I understand, some take verse and life too serious, cheers

Sir, I know not what to say… I do enjoy most of what you write, but in all honesty I must admit I like others who seem to be ever so silent in remarks in regards to your last piece. I must admit that I am dumfounded. I stand now before you as a friend who will never judge lest I too be judged. The humor in this piece sir strikes me in an odd way. Though you and I are different, we are the same. We are both creations of God…I have been taught from my youth to reverence God, thus this comment to you is on an honest nonjudgmental platform. Though I can only speak for myself, I can attest that God has been good to me despite the bitter pain that living has brought forth. With that said I will leave on this. Know that my love for you as a brother is pure and sure.

God bless…Al
