 Murkowski's American De-Termination

Alaskan De-Termination never to give up the fight

That after being defeated by California Tea Party and Palin interests.

That then Terminated her candidacy from the Republican Party

That then turned on her bid for reelection, she turned to her faith.

That she asked for divine inspiration for her answer

That told her she needed that David spirit - against her Goliath.

Where the Nevada odds were an astronomical disadvantage

To go against the icon of the Tea Party and her chosen candidate.

That as soon as she declared being a candidate,  the Tea Party exploded,

Took away her Republican monetary support under Palin/Miller pressure.

That Miller, Palin, and the Tea Party did everything to destroy her credibility

That grew every day stronger that Alaskans will never be driven as lambs.

That even after all the tossed votes by Miller fierce backers,

That enough people had learned how to spell Lisa Murkowski,

Not as easy a name to spell as Sarah Palin in a write in vote.

She did something that only happened once long ago, she won.

A stunning write-in victory in a phenomenal coalition

Against the Tea Party and Republican DNC hierarchy.

But Murkowski made history over a former Alaskan Governor,

Where her Senate candidates went down to defeat in a bitter pill.

That in fact Murkowski showed more Presidential skills.

That she can see that Sarah Palin is not yet Presidential material.

That she did something other Republicans cower as lambs

That like a Palin led the Tea Party, Republican have turned in lambs.

That there is a Senator Lisa Murkowski there to make Palin accountable

That Lisa needs a TV show on her faith, in how she overcame all odds.

Where she can show a strong Republican woman, like a Democrat Hillary,

Both feminine statures that go beyond wardrobes but an Alaskan heart of respect.
